Naloxone (Narcan®) (available in French only)

The PROFAN project (Prévenir et réduire les overdoses – Former et accéder à la naloxone) [Preventing and reducing overdose – Training on and access to naloxone] teaches peers how to administer naloxone, a drug that has been used for the emergency treatment of opioid overdose for 40 years. The PROFAN project was launched by the peer support association, Méta d’Âme, in collaboration with CRAN and Montreal’s Public Health Branch.
